In February of 1997 Atlas Cranes Northland was established by Glenn and Jane Lowther. We are a family based company providing our services to the wider Northland region. We have over 40 years of experience in the crane industry. The company began its operation with two cranes and we now run a fleet of cranes ranging in size from our 10 ton rough terrain crane right through to our 130 ton All Terrain crane. We run three trucks to support our cranes and to provide general cartage and transportation within our company.
Jimmy Lowther, joined the family business in 2002 after completing his National Certificate in Carpentry. As our operations manager Jimmy brings a wide range of skills from the building and crane industry to our company.
We pride ourselves in having an excellent record in health and safety. Our staff, are trained to the highest standard and all our operators hold their National Certificate in Mobile Crane Operation a NZQA qualification or they are in the process of obtaining their certificate.

NZQA in mobile crane operation preferred. Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is mandatory. Preferred class 5 drivers license and clean driving record. Able to word in a team environment.
